Ice Wireless Installation |
ICE Wireless Broadband is provided on Ethernet. An Ethernet cable is what is used for computer networks and looks alot like a big phone plug. To set up ICE Wireless Broadband follow these easy steps. - Connect the ethernet cable to the network card at the back of your pc.
- Set up your computers IP address. Your IP address identifies your computer on the internet and is provided to you by ICE Wireless or your network administrator.
- Setup Internet explorer as follows:
- Launch internet explorer
- Select "Tools" on the File Menu
- Click on "Internet Options"
- When the "Internet Options" dialogue box opens, click on the "Connections" tab at the top of the screen. You will see the following:
 - Make sure the "Never Dial a connection" radio button is selected.
- Press the "LAN settings" button
- You will see the following screen
 - Make sure none of the boxes here are checked, your settings should be identical to the screen above
- Click "OK"
- Click "OK" again
- Close Internet Explorer
- You are now ready to use ICE Wireless. Simply Launch Internet Explorer and start surfing!
