Ice Broadband arrives in Louth with free calls for users

Ice Broadband has launched quality wireless broadband services in County Louth. The company’s broadband service includes free calls for users, making Ice Broadband’s packages the best value in the Irish market.

Dundalk, Ardee and Drogheda are the first localities in the county where this service is available.

“From €49.99 a month, our customers enjoy high quality broadband and free phone calls. There is no catch. This makes our ICEpack the best value package in the Irish market. No phone line is needed, so our customers don’t need to pay line rental fees either,” explains Fran Rooney, executive chairman of Ice Broadband.

According to the Central Statistics Office (CSO), 17.6% of total households in County Louth have broadband access compared to the national average of 20% of households with broadband access.

Ice Broadband is one of Ireland’s leading broadband providers and the company has committed to introduce high quality Internet access to communities across Ireland largely forgotten by other providers.

“We feel there are still many rural areas in the county in need for good quality broadband,” adds Rooney.

Starting from €49.99, ICEpack includes free local and national calls, as well as free calls to the UK and US.
